My website however you ended up here, whether by word of mouth, discovering me in a search result through Google, a Facebook friend request, or the QR code on one of my guitar picks, this is the place to get the latest info as to what I'm up to.

Right now the site is still currently a work in progress! And a lot has happened and changed in my life. The music scene is different, along with the world in general. So it’s time to update me and start fresh! Briefly what you see is what you get with me and I'm a product of the hardrock music I grew up on in the late 70's and 80's. I make no bones about it and my site will certainly reflect and show what I'm all about.

The social media icons located in the footer at the bottom will link you to my Facebook page, my YouTube channel with various other links I dig, my Twitter feed, and to Apple Music which has the Scarlet Embrace Present Addiction album available for streaming if your a member of Apple Music. You can also find Scarlet Embrace on Spotify if you prefer that streaming service.

And remember keep rockin' and; "\m/ UP THE IRONS \m/"!

The Biography page is finally complete. I labored long and hard over the writing of my bio and wrote and rewrote the damn thing until I was satisfied with it and how it read.

My guitar picks ordered from SteveClayton.com came in and they look fabulous! I think every guitar player should have their own picks made up. It's a great way to promote yourself or your band! I firmly believe that if you give someone a pick with contact info and whatever your promoting, the inpression you leave will be long lasting worth more than a than you can imagine! I know when I've been to a show and caught a guitar pick or a drum stick from the stage that little souvenir was priceless!

And Some Music...

While I'm working on building my media page, I wanted to get some of my playing up so everyone can hear and see what my playing is like. And first off is an audio CD that I released last year called; "Songs to Swing A Brick By!" It comprises some covers that I really liked growing up and always wanted to play. At this point I was between bands and wanting to keep busy I figured out a way to remove the guitar and rerecord me playing on the tracks, think of it as guitar karaoke! Hey if you can do it for singers why not guitar players too!! There's also one live track from my former band The Spirit of DIO recorded at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie NY.

And also here's some video for ya! This is a Smoke 'N' Fire promo video we self produced in 1995 to promote the band and was part of our press kit. And yup as you might have guessed that's a really young George Hyde there playing guitar!
